Equipment Reimbursement Policy
As a member in good standing of the Arizona Probation Officers Association, you may qualify to be reimbursed for financial losses suffered as a result of departmental equipment loss or damage while on-duty.
The requirements for qualification include:
- You must be a member at the time of loss
- The department must have required you to pay a deductible for the loss or damage
- The form following this policy must be submitted in a timely manner
- A copy of payment and/or the departmental loss/damage report must be included with the report
The limitations of this benefit include:
- $250.00 per incident/$500.00 lifetime benefit
If the loss or damage was caused by negligence, payment of this benefit is at the discretion of AZPOA.
